Mitchell Watson

Mitchell Watson is an accomplished executive with extensive leadership experience in operations and change management within the banking sector. Since June 2018, Watson has served as Executive Manager Operations in the Chief Data Office at Westpac, overseeing strategic and transformational initiatives. Prior roles at Westpac include Executive Manager of the Chief Operating Office, Director of the Remediation Program Office, and PMO Director for various portfolios with significant annual budgets and regulatory programs. Prior to Westpac, Watson held several senior positions at Commonwealth Bank from 2003 to 2018, including Senior Change Manager and Branch Manager, where expertise in change management, operational optimization, and customer engagement was developed. Watson holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Australian Institute of Business.
