Penny Ward

Penny Ward is currently the Managing Director at Westpac Treasury. Previously, Penny held various leadership positions at Westpac, including Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Group Treasury, as well as Head of Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book. Earlier in their career, Penny served as Head of Strategy & Regulatory Change for Financial Markets & Treasury Risk and Head of Financial Markets Credit at Westpac Institutional Bank, along with a role as Director of Structured Derivatives Sales. Penny's educational background includes a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Economics from the University of Wollongong and a Chartered Accountant designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
