Ryan Phan

Ryan Phan has extensive experience in corporate governance and secretariat roles within major financial institutions in Australia. Currently serving as the Head of Westpac Secretariat and holding multiple titles including Senior Company Secretary and Company Secretary within Westpac since March 2019, Ryan has previously worked as the Wealth Company Secretary at ANZ from February 2018 to March 2019, and as Company Secretary for subsidiaries at Commonwealth Bank from December 2016 to January 2018. Ryan's earlier roles include Company Secretary for ANZ Wealth Australia from March 2013 to November 2016 and Manager Secretariat at Commonwealth Bank from 2006 to 2013. Ryan's educational background includes a Graduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance from the Governance Institute of Australia, a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from The College of Law Australia, and a Bachelor of Commerce and Laws from the University of Sydney.
