Tim Bird

Tim Bird is the Head of FX Spot Trading for Europe and the Americas, bringing nearly two decades of experience in foreign exchange trading. Currently a Director of FX Spot Trading at Commonwealth Bank, Tim oversees the Spot FX and EFX desk in EMEA, focusing on AUD and NZD franchise books. Tim has previously sharpened their skills as a Foreign Exchange Trader at BNP Paribas and Standard Chartered Bank, and as a Director at Crédit Agricole CIB. Tim began their FX trading career at Crédit Agricole, advancing to run the largest FX trading book globally. They hold a Master's degree in Finance and Economics from The University of Manchester.
