Sergio Giuste

Sergio Giuste is an experienced professional in the field of research and development, currently serving as the Research and Development Manager at Smurfit Westrock since July 2024. Prior to this role, Sergio held various positions at WestRock Company, including R&D Manager for Papermaking and Structural Mechanics beginning in March 2021, and Manager of Paperboard Technology from July 2015 to March 2021. Sergio also worked at MeadWestvaco as the Manager of Paper Board Technology and Innovation Lead from February 2013 to June 2015. Earlier experience includes the role of Business Manager at Voith Paper Fabric and Roll Systems from January 2012 to February 2013. Sergio holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from FEI, completed in December 1986.
