Westside Ale Works is a craft brewery and taproom in South Melbourne, brewing West Coast-inspired beers since 2016.

We pour 16 of our own beers across 20 taps — from sessionable lagers and pale ales to big West Coast IPAs, NEIPAs, and stouts — plus four taps dedicated to the best craft breweries from around the world.

Our SoCal-style warehouse taproom on Alfred Street is a short walk from the CBD and tram-accessible from across Melbourne. It's the kind of place where a quiet Thursday afternoon can accidentally turn into a very good night.

We also host private events and corporate functions in two dedicated spaces:
1. The Taproom — up to 70 guests, 155" projection screen, PA system, full bar and catering
2. The Hop Loft (upstairs) — up to 30 guests, 50" TV, private bar, ideal for team sessions and intimate events

Both spaces are available for weekday and weekend hire. Add a guided brewery tour, shuffleboard, darts, and hand-stretched pizzas — and you have a venue your team will actually want to come back to.
