John Ahmann

John Ahmann serves as the President and CEO of Westside Future Fund since 2016, where responsibilities include day-to-day management and supporting the execution of programs aimed at improving neighborhood conditions in Westside Atlanta. Previously, John established and led Ahmann, Inc. for a decade, providing strategic counsel on impactful projects like the Atlanta Botanical Gardens parking deck and the Atlanta Regional Commission's legal strategy during interstate water negotiations. John's extensive background also includes serving as Executive Director for the Atlanta Committee for Progress, overseeing public policy as Senior Vice President at the Metro Atlanta Chamber, and managing federal relations for the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games. Academic credentials include a Master of Public/Private Management from the Yale School of Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Emory University.
