Westside School is an Outstanding Alternative Provision providing a structured, supportive and ambitious learning environment where students can rebuild confidence, re-engage with education and move forward with purpose.

At Westside, we believe in making the system work for the child, rather than forcing a child to fit a system that does not meet their needs. Every student is treated as an individual, with personalised learning pathways and consistent support designed around their strengths, experiences and future goals.

With small class sizes, strong pastoral guidance and high expectations, we support students to achieve meaningful academic outcomes while developing resilience, independence and self-belief.

Our curriculum combines academic learning, vocational opportunities, personal development and preparation for Post-16 pathways including further education, apprenticeships and employment.

Westside School has achieved two consecutive Ofsted Outstanding ratings, including under the new Ofsted framework.
