Tim Stephen

Tim Stephen has extensive experience in business and legal affairs across various sectors of the media and entertainment industry. Beginning a career at Lionsgate as Director of Business and Legal Affairs from 2003 to 2005, Tim then transitioned to Cartoon Network, serving until 2007. Following this, a role as EVP of Business and Legal Affairs at Generate/Alloy from 2007 to 2013 involved negotiating agreements for a multi-platform television and media firm. Tim later advised clients such as Deepak Chopra and Microsoft Xbox while consulting for Gables Media, Inc. Before taking on dual roles as General Counsel and COO at WET in March 2025, Tim served as EVP Strategy and Head of Business & Legal Affairs for Gaumont Film, Television, Animation & Distribution from October 2014 to December 2023, overseeing business and legal operations, including innovative licensing strategies for successful projects. Tim holds a law degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles (1999-2003).
