Jim Allison

Jim Allison is the Vice President and General Manager of WETA Classical Radio in Washington, DC, where they oversee on-air programming and manage initiatives such as the podcast Classical Breakdown and the blog Classical Score. Previously, they served as Program Director and Music Director at WGMS, and taught piano at a private studio. Jim holds a Master of Music in Piano Performance from The Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from Duquesne University. They continue to perform, specializing in the works of Rachmaninoff.
