Tami Mount

Tami Mount, M. Ed., currently serves as the Senior Director of Reading Universe at WETA since January 2022 and has been the Founder and CEO of Blossom Learning, LLC since April 2008, where significant initiatives have been launched in partnership with PBS Education. Mount's extensive experience includes leadership roles at PBS, where as Senior Content Director from November 2008 to June 2013, strategic planning and development for PBS LearningMedia were key responsibilities. Previous positions include Director of Content at Scholastic.com, where classroom resources were developed, and Senior Manager for Multimedia at Summer Productions, contributing to the launch of Discovery Channel Education's first website. Early career experiences include teaching Language Arts at Lycee Rochambeau French International School and serving as Outreach Coordinator at The Catholic University of America, engaging in significant educational projects. Mount holds a Master of Arts in Education from The Catholic University of America and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from James Madison University.
