Andy DeGroat

Andy DeGroat, PLS, is a licensed professional land surveyor with 40 years of extensive experience in surveying and mapping. Currently serving as the Director of Subsurface Utility Engineering and Western NC Survey Manager at Wetherill Engineering, they have managed various utility services and significant projects across the southeastern United States. Previously, Andy held leadership roles at companies such as Mulkey Engineers & Consultants and Amec Foster Wheeler, overseeing geomatics initiatives and contributing to public infrastructure projects. Andy's educational background includes studies in Architectural Engineering and Business Administration at SUNY Orange and North Carolina State University.
