Scott Yara

Scott Yara is a seasoned entrepreneur and venture partner with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as a Venture Partner at Sutter Hill Ventures and a Board Member and Investor at Astronomer, Scott co-founded Wevr and has held pivotal roles at Pivotal Software, Inc., where the company went public in 2018 and was later acquired by VMware. Scott also co-founded Nomic and Greenplum, the latter being acquired by EMC to establish its Data Computing Division. Prior experience includes a strategic marketing role at Sandpiper Networks, Inc., and a solid educational background from UCLA.
