Aurélien Moreau

Aurélien Moreau has extensive work experience in various roles within the technology industry.

Aurélien is currently the CTO at WeWard, a position they started in May 2022.

Prior to that, they were the CEO at Aulient, starting in January 2020.

From December 2020 to July 2022, Aurélien worked as the Chief Technology Officer at ORTHOiN3D.

Before that, they founded Angus.ai in March 2015 and served as the Founder until June 2022. At Angus.ai, they developed Artificial Intelligence solutions for retail players, focusing on real-time tracking for shelves in brick and mortar stores.

From July 2012 to February 2015, Aurélien worked as the Head of Web & Cloud Computing at Aldebaran Robotics.

Aurélien also held positions at Gostai, where they were the Chief Technology Officer (Software) from January 2012 to July 2012 and an R&D Engineer from October 2009 to January 2012. At Gostai, they managed software projects and acted as the interface between technical and strategic/marketing teams.

Aurélien started their career as a Research Engineer at LIP6 - Laboratoire d'Informatique Sorbonne Université/CNRS in January 2009 and as a PhD student at Université Pierre et Marie Curie in October 2007.

Aurélien also worked as a Research Engineer N1 (PhD Student) at Orange Labs from October 2004 to October 2007 and as a Stagiaire at Université Pierre & Marie Curie from April 2004 to September 2004.

Aurélien Moreau completed their Master's degree in Computer Science from École normale supérieure de Lyon, from 2001 to 2003. From 2003 to 2004, they pursued further studies in Computer Science at Université de Montréal, obtaining another Master's degree. Subsequently, from 2004 to 2009, they pursued a Ph.D. in Computer Science at Pierre and Marie Curie University. Lastly, in 2003, they also pursued a combined Master's and Ph.D. program in Computer Science from Pierre and Marie Curie University.
