Brian Yang

Brian Yang is a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with extensive experience in data infrastructure and tooling. Currently working at WeWork since March 2019, Brian is responsible for the migration of Redshift to Snowflake and has architected the Snowflake data warehouse while also developing custom tools for Data and Machine Learning Engineers. Prior experience includes roles at Bankrate, Inc. and B23 LLC, where Brian focused on ETL development, Snowflake administration, and Spark applications. Brian began a career at GEICO as a Data Engineer in the analytics department and has also interned as a Business Analyst at T. Rowe Price and as a tour leader for exchange students with the American Cultural Exchange Society. Brian holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Science and Financial Economics from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
