Matt Ballard serves as the Director of Litigation at WeWork since January 2016. Prior to this role, Matt was the Principal and founder of The Seguin Group LLC from September 2014 to May 2016, where the focus was on employment law, internal investigations, compliance, complex litigation management, alternative dispute resolution, and risk management. Matt's legal experience includes serving as Senior Counsel at Jefferson Health System from February 2005 to July 2014 and as a Senior Attorney at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP from September 1996 to February 2005, specializing in labor and employment law litigation and providing counsel on employment law matters to corporate clients. Early career roles include serving as a Federal Law Clerk for The Honorable Jay C. Waldman and as a Legislative Assistant to United States Senator William S. Cohen. Matt holds a JD in Law from the University of Virginia School of Law and an undergraduate degree from Bowdoin College.
