Yao Zhang

Yao Zhang is an accomplished real estate professional with extensive experience in advisory and investment roles. Currently serving as Associate Director at WeWork since December 2018, Yao leads a team focused on providing real estate advisory for large transactions and key account development. Prior experience includes positions as Senior Manager at Country Garden Asset Management Ltd., where Yao developed deal pipelines for cross-border transactions, and Vice President at Taikang Asset Management, overseeing equity, debt, and fund investment opportunities in overseas real estate. Yao held a managerial role in Capital Markets at Cushman & Wakefield, directing deal marketing efforts in Greater China, and started as an Associate at Five Mile Capital, evaluating investment opportunities and managing assets. Yao holds an MBA from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and a BS in International Relations from Beijing Foreign Studies University.
