Allele Dev

Allele Dev has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. They have held various roles and responsibilities in different companies. Allele started their career as a Graduate Student Researcher at Florida State University, where they conducted research in programming heterogeneous systems. After that, Allele worked as a Software Developer at Rackspace, specializing in automation and reliability of infrastructure. They also worked as an Independent Software Consultant, focusing on Haskell and typed-FP.

In subsequent years, Allele held positions at eduphoria! and Queer Types as a Senior Software Developer and Chief Technical/Executive Cutie, respectively. They then joined American Express as a Software Developer, where they extended and maintained a mobile services layer. Allele also worked as a Software Engineer at Simple Finance and as a Test Automation Engineer at Formation.

Most recently, Allele served as a Staff Software Engineer at Fastly, where their primary responsibility was the maintenance and development of internal tools to increase engineering efficiency. They also collaborated with third-party vendors to ensure requirements were met. Currently, Allele is working as a Lead Developer at WEX.

Allele Dev earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Florida State University in 2008. They continued their education at the same institution and obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science in 2012. In the same year, Allele also enrolled in Udacity, where they pursued a course of study in various subjects.
