David Snedaker

David Snedaker has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. David is currently the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at WEX, starting in 2023. Prior to their current position, they worked at American Express from 2014 to 2023. At American Express, they held various roles such as Vice President - Credit Risk Oversight, Director, and Senior Manager, where they were responsible for managing credit risk, underwriting limits, and conducting annual credit reviews. Before American Express, David worked at Goldman Sachs from 2003 to 2014, holding positions such as Vice President - Senior Credit Analyst, Associate - Credit Analyst, Associate - Operations Analyst, and Analyst/Associate - Operations Analyst. During their time at Goldman Sachs, they had responsibilities including credit risk management, portfolio analysis, team leadership, covenant monitoring, and loan closing process development. David also gained early work experience as a Loan Consultant at Sterling Capital in 2003 and as an Accounts Payable Auditor at CRS - Cash Recovery Specialists from 2000 to 2002.

David Snedaker obtained a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University from 1999 to 2003, majoring in Business Management with an emphasis in Finance. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained a certification in "15 Secrets Successful People Know about Time Management (getAbstract Summary)" from LinkedIn in 2021.
