Heather Kulla

Heather Kulla has extensive experience in the event management industry. Heather currently holds the position of Director of Global Community & Events at WEX since November 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Dynamic Communities from 2016 to 2020, serving as the Vice President of Events and later as the Director of Events. During their time at Dynamic Communities, they played a key role in expanding the event business to a global scale, increasing the number of events and creating a 12-city world tour. Heather also implemented process improvement plans, managed a high-performing team, and significantly increased event revenue. Before joining Dynamic Communities, Heather worked at Microsoft from 2001 to 2016, where they held various roles including Director of Events and Group Marketing Manager for MBS Events. Their responsibilities at Microsoft included leading the event strategy, supervising teams, and delivering high-quality attendee experiences. Heather's earlier experience includes roles as a Special Event Coordinator at Great Plains Software from 1993 to 2001. Their work experience demonstrates their strong leadership skills, strategic event planning abilities, and track record of successfully managing and growing event businesses.

Heather Kulla obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from the University of North Dakota, where they attended from 1989 to 1993.
