John Sweeney

John Sweeney has over 20 years of experience in strategy, marketing, and business development, primarily in the public sector and health information technology. Currently, John serves as the Strategy and Business Development Lead for the Public Sector at WEX, where innovative projects drive new revenue streams and strong relationships are built with government agencies. John also holds the position of Vice Chair at the West Valley Arts Foundation, supporting diverse arts programming, and has directed over 30 productions at Hale Centre Theatre since 2004. Furthermore, John is the Artistic Producer/Director at West Valley Performing Arts Center, actively involved in directing and overseeing productions. Prior roles include Strategic Marketing Director at IBM Watson Health and VP of Marketing at HealthEquity, where significant contributions were made to health technology and consumer healthcare solutions. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications and History from Commonwealth University-Bloomsburg.
