Phablo Souza is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software development and engineering across multiple industries. Currently serving as a Tech Lead and Senior Software Development Engineer at WEX, Phablo focuses on high-scale backend systems for a global payment authorization platform, emphasizing microservices architecture and cloud modernization. Previously, as a Tech Lead and Solutions Architect at Iterative, Phablo led the development of a high-compliance financial platform and scaled agile teams while implementing DevOps practices. Phablo has also contributed significantly to Brazil's PIX Instant Payments infrastructure at Itaú Unibanco, modernized legacy systems at Grupo Saga, and ensured the reliability of telecom ETL systems at WebRadar. Phablo holds an MBA in Innovation and Agile Project Management and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Universidade Federal de Goiás.
