Robert Hood

Robert Hood, CISSP, is an Information Security Architect at WEX, where they specialize in attack vector analysis, vulnerability assessment, and penetration testing. They previously held roles such as Information Security Solutions Architect at BJ's Wholesale Club and have extensive experience in multiple industries, including retail, healthcare, and government. Robert recently achieved 4th place in the DefCon 23 Social Engineering Capture the Flag competition and is pursuing OSCP certification along with other penetration testing credentials. They also founded the New England Chapter of the Fuel User Group, advocating for a global community of security professionals. Robert holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with dual concentrations in Management Information Systems and Management from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell.
