Sharon Scace has extensive experience in the technology and payments sectors, currently serving as the Manager of Technical Specification & Merchant Compliance at WEX since January 2011, where responsibilities include the implementation of EMV Fleet specifications and collaboration with processing networks. Previously, at WEX, Sharon held the position of Spec Technical Solutions Manager, focusing on ISO 8583 Interface Specification acquisitions. Prior to WEX, Sharon worked at BP from July 1990 to January 2011 in various roles, including Functional Architect and Business Solution Consultant, becoming a Subject Matter Expert in Payment and Loyalty processing and managing multiple vendor relationships for Global Electronic Payment System specification development. Early career experiences include internships at Rockwell International and IBM, where foundational skills in testing and development were established. Sharon holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Studies from Northwestern University.
