Thiago Menezes

Thiago Menezes has extensive work experience in software development and programming. Thiago started their career as a Java Developer at Embasa in 2007 and then worked as a Java, PHP, and HTML Programmer at Faculdade São Bento da Bahia. After that, they joined Capgemini as a Java Programmer and later worked as a System Analyst and Developer at Tivoli Hotels & Resorts and Bridgestone. In 2011, they became a Senior Programmer at Softplan Planejamento de Sistemas LTDA and then a Java Software Engineer at Apple Solution - Genebra - Suíça. Thiago later worked as a Senior Java Developer at CTIS - Sefaz-Ba and as a Senior Software Engineer at W6Solutions. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Programmer Team Lead at WEX, where they lead the Dev Team and provides code support and code reviews for EFS Brazil's core services platform.

Thiago Menezes completed a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, specializing in Web Application Technologies, at Universidade Católica do Salvador from 2004 to 2009. In 2010, they pursued an Advanced Specialization in Distributed Systems at Universidade Federal da Bahia. In 2015, Thiago completed a Specialization in Web Application Technologies at Universidade do Paraná. Thiago also holds various certifications, including the New Relic Observability Foundations Badge and New Relic Observability Practitioner Badge from New Relic, a Certified SAFe® 5 Practitioner from Scaled Agile, Inc., and DEVOPS ESSENTIALS PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATE (DEPC) and SCRUM FOUNDATION PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATE (SFPC) from CertiProf®. Additionally, Thiago holds the MTCNA (MikroTik Certified Network Associate) certification from MikroTik.
