Tim Cosby

Tim Cosby, SPHR has a wide range of experience in talent acquisition and management. Tim is currently serving as the Head of Global Talent Acquisition at WEX, a position they started in February 2023. Prior to that, they held the role of Director - Global Talent Acquisition at WEX from March 2022 to February 2023.

Before joining WEX, Tim worked as the Director, Talent Acquisition at AVANGRID from June 2021 to March 2022. Tim also served as the Vice President, Talent Acquisition at National General Insurance from February 2020 to May 2021, where they led the strategic direction and operations of the recruitment staff.

Tim's experience in talent acquisition also includes their tenure at UnitedHealth Group, where they held the role of Director, Talent Acquisition from May 2013 to November 2019. During this time, they collaborated with business leaders and human capital partners to develop recruitment strategies, review staffing forecasts, and execute the talent management strategy.

Prior to their role at UnitedHealth Group, Tim worked at The Hartford in various positions, including Program Director, Project Manager II, and Senior Staffing Consultant. In these roles, they were responsible for developing project plans, coordinating change management strategies, and sourcing diverse candidates.

Earlier in their career, Tim worked at Aetna as a Talent Acquisition Lead and Chief of Staff, Talent Management & Senior Recruiter. At Aetna, they provided leadership in recruitment strategies, managed the Office of the Head of Talent Management, and supported the Talent Management Leadership Team.

Tim started their career at Adecco as a Branch Manager, where they oversaw all phases of branch operations and managed the recruitment process.

Tim Cosby, SPHR pursued studies in Criminal Justice at St. Thomas Aquinas College. Tim later obtained the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from HRCI.
