Andrew Brown

Andrew Brown is an experienced forestry professional with a strong background in environmental management and resource forestry. Currently serving as Environmental Manager and previously as Harvest Manager at Weyerhaeuser since February 2016, Andrew has a robust history with Plum Creek and the Virginia Department of Forestry, where roles included Resource Forester and Senior Area Forester. With expertise in forest management, multi-resource management plans, and wildfire prevention, Andrew has been instrumental in providing trainings, managing insect and disease control, and facilitating tree planting and herbicide application. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science in Forest Management/Forest Resources Management from Virginia Tech, earned in 2006.
