Chris Dalton

Chris Dalton has an extensive work experience with a focus on information security and risk management. Chris currently holds the position of VP & Chief Information Security Officer at Weyerhaeuser since April 2019. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Information Security Governance, Risk & Compliance at Enterprise Holdings from March 2017 to March 2019. Chris also served as the Director of Information Security Practice at Base2 Solutions from January 2016 to March 2017.

Previously, Chris held several senior leadership roles in information security and cloud security at companies such as ServiceNow, EMC, VMware, Group Health Cooperative, Premera Blue Cross, and Nordstrom. In these roles, they successfully led various initiatives, including building enterprise-wide governance frameworks, managing enterprise information security risk, and implementing IT infrastructure engineering and information security strategies. Chris has a strong background in risk-based models and a focus on reducing subjectivity in risk analysis.

Chris Dalton's education history includes obtaining a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Management Information Systems from Florida Atlantic University, as well as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a field of study in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from the University of Phoenix. In addition to their degrees, they have obtained various certifications including GIAC Response and Industrial Defense (GRID), Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP), CCSFP, Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), CEH, CISSP, GIAC GSEC, and an expired TS Clearance from the United States Department of Defense.
