Matthew Hane

Matthew Hane is the Terrestrial Resources Unit Manager at Weyerhaeuser, where they develop wildlife and biodiversity research and manage terrestrial threatened and endangered species survey programs across Western Timberlands. Previously, they worked as a Research Biologist-Wildlife at Weyerhaeuser from 2003 to 2021 and held roles as an Ecologist at Beak Consultants Inc. and a Wildlife Biologist at Biota Pacific. Matthew has a Master of Environmental Management focused on Ecology from Duke University School of Forestry and Environmental Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from Lawrence University.
