Ryan N. is an accomplished forest health scientist with extensive experience in silviculture and research. Currently serving at Weyerhaeuser since February 2021, Ryan N. has previously held positions at Auburn University from 2014 to February 2021 as an assistant research professor and research fellow in the Southern Forest Nursery Management Cooperative and the Forest Health Dynamics Laboratory. Prior to this, Ryan N. was a senior research scientist at the Institute for Commercial Forestry Research from 2010 to 2014, leading projects on integrated pest management in commercial tree plantations in South Africa. Ryan N. holds a PhD in Genetics from the University of Pretoria and multiple degrees in Ecology, Environment, and Conservation from the University of the Witwatersrand.
