Mark Averette

Mark Averette serves as the Bridge Design Department Manager at WGI since January 2022, having previously held the position of Senior Project Manager and Bridge Design Engineer at Simpson Engineers & Associates until its acquisition by WGI in December 2021. Averette began a career in bridge design engineering at ARCADIS from January 1995 to October 2004. Mark Averette holds professional engineering registrations in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida, and completed the NHI Bridge Inspection Refresher Training in 2018. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science and a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University.
