Colin Barron

Colin Barron is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Managing Estimator at WGM Engineering Ltd since June 2016, where leadership of the estimating function is a key focus as the company expands within the U.K. water industry. Previously, Colin was a Senior Costing Specialist at Scottish Water from July 2007 to June 2016, leading top-down estimating functions and producing cost analyses for civil and MEICA assets, contributing to significant savings in capital projects. Colin also held various engineering and estimating roles at organizations such as Weir Engineering Services, Havelock Europa, Diageo, and others, starting a career with a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from The Open University.
