Robert Hackford

Robert Hackford is an experienced journalist currently serving as the Weekend Morning Anchor and Multiskilled Journalist at WGRZ since August 2020. Prior to this role, Robert worked at NewsChannel 9 WSYR as a News Reporter, Anchor, and Producer from June 2016 to July 2020, where responsibilities included planning newscasts and managing web content. Earlier experience includes positions as Managing Lab Technician at SUNY Oswego, overseeing student workers and managing equipment, and as News Director at WTOP-10 TV, leading a student-run news team. Robert's career began with internships and roles across various media outlets, including CBS News. Robert holds a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcasting from the State University of New York at Oswego, with a double major in Mass Communication and Business Administration.
