Travis Chaput

Travis Chaput, CHST, currently serves as the Corporate Safety Director for Wharton-Smith, Inc. since November 2023, following a progression from roles such as Senior Safety Manager and Safety Manager at Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC from May 2019 to November 2023. Prior experience includes the position of Safety Supervisor at Scenario and Safety Manager at Superior Rigging. Travis's career began in the US Army as a Special Forces Engineering Sergeant, where extensive leadership training was received, and responsibilities included managing significant equipment assets. Educational achievements include a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Liberty University, a Certified Personal Trainer designation from the National Academy of Sports Medicine, and ongoing studies towards a BS in Occupational Safety & Health with a concentration in Construction Safety at Columbia Southern University.
