Ellen Smith is a multimedia journalist at WHAS-TV since October 2020, leveraging extensive experience in journalism and production. Prior to this role, Ellen served as Vice-President of the National Association of Black Journalists and completed an internship in Communication and Public Relations at the University of Kentucky. Additional experience includes a college associate position at Fox News, an internship at WLEX-TV, and participation as a Production Student Crew Member with the Southeastern Conference, contributing to over 80 athletic event broadcasts. Ellen also gained valuable skills as a videography intern at Camp Ozark, where daily content was produced and edited using Adobe Premiere. Ellen holds education from the University of Kentucky and Florence University of the Arts.
