Michael Chapman

Michael Chapman is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in brand strategy and creative direction. Currently serving as Senior Brand & Design Lead at what3words since March 2020, Michael leads a global team of designers to enhance brand systems and communication across diverse markets and languages. Prior roles include Design Director for various freelance projects and at Class35 and Pollinate International, where Michael contributed to the establishment of the NatWest Tyl brand. With a background as Design Director at Lippincott, specializing in global brand standards and client relationships, as well as prior roles in creative direction and design, Michael has cultivated a robust skill set in visual identity and brand development. Michael holds a Bachelor of Design from York University.
