Daniel Pena, CPA, has over 19 years of experience in the accounting and finance sectors, currently serving as the Director of RPA Solutions, Finance Information Systems, and Shared Services Accounting at Whataburger since October 2004. In this role, Daniel leads the implementation and growth of Robotic Process Automation across the organization, overseeing a multi-functional team dedicated to designing, delivering, and maintaining automated solutions. Daniel's prior positions at Whataburger include Assistant Controller for Retail and Supply Chain, Accounting Manager in various domains, and Coordinator roles focused on internal compliance and performance reporting. Daniel began a professional career at the City of Corpus Christi as a Senior Accountant, managing city-wide enterprise fund financials. Daniel earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas A&M University-Kingsville.
