Emilie Reeslund is currently the Global Employment Counsel at Whatnot, a position they have held since 2025. Previously, they served as APAC Employment Counsel at Stripe, where they contributed to establishing the APAC Employment Legal function and provided strategic advice on global employment matters. Emilie began their legal career as an Associate at JONES DAY®, representing employers in various employment-related litigations and advising on compliance with federal and state employment laws. They earned a Doctor of Law (JD) cum laude from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
