Alan Wolff has an extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Alan is currently working as the Chief Information Officer at Wheaton College since 2022. Before that, they served as the Senior IT Director at Northwestern University's McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science from 2001 to 2022. Additionally, they worked as an Adjunct Professor at Northwestern University from 2003 onwards. Alan is also the Co-Founder of Catapult LLC and Go-U LLC, both established in 2012. Prior to their roles at Northwestern University, they served as an IT Manager/Director for various departments at Northwestern University from 1989 to 2001. Furthermore, they worked as a Programmer/Analyst at Northwestern University from 1989 to 1990 and as a Systems Programmer at Management Computer Systems, Inc. from 1987 to 1988.

Alan Wolff holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from Northwestern University. Alan also obtained an MS in Communication Systems from the same institution. Prior to that, they completed a BA in History at the University of Maryland.
