Jay Bieszke

Jay Bieszke is an accomplished facilities management professional with extensive experience spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Chief Facilities Officer at Wheaton College since August 2021, Jay oversees strategic planning and management of all facilities-related aspects. Prior to this, Jay held the position of Executive Director of Physical Plant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, managing operations for a significant campus infrastructure. Jay's impressive background in the US Navy includes senior roles such as Chief of Staff for the Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Energy, Installations & Environment, where responsibilities encompassed policy establishment and oversight for energy security and environmental protection. Jay's earlier positions involved directing facilities maintenance and program management across various Navy installations, showcasing a strong foundation in managing complex facility operations. Education credentials include a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Ball State University.
