Mary Cecil

Mary Cecil is an accomplished academic and technology leader with extensive experience in higher education and information systems. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at Liberty University since 2014, Mary teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in business and computer science. Additionally, Mary holds the position of Chief Information Officer at Blue Heaven River Tours, providing leadership in technology initiatives, while also editing theses and dissertations for graduate students at Wheaton College. Previously, Mary was the Vice President of Research Planning and Technology at McKendree University and Dean of Student Services at Rend Lake College. Early career roles included systems analyst positions at PRIMEX Controls and Franklin Life Insurance Company. Academically, Mary holds a Ph.D. in Business and Computer Science from Northcentral University, along with multiple degrees and certificates in related fields from various institutions, including a Data Science Certificate from the University of California, Berkeley.
