Michael Wilder has served as Dean of the Conservatory, Arts & Communication at Wheaton College since 2008, overseeing a division that encompasses the Conservatory of Music, Departments of Visual Art and Communication, the Community School of the Arts, and the Artist Series. Prior to this role, Michael Wilder was Chair of the Division of Fine Arts at Friends University from 2005 to 2008, managing music, dance, theater, and visual art programs. Michael Wilder holds both a Master of Music (MM) and a Ph.D. in Clarinet Performance and Music Education from the University of Michigan, where studies took place from 1985 to 1988.
