Paul Robinson is a distinguished academic and leader in the field of global development and African studies. Currently serving as a Fulbright Scholar and Visiting Professor at Uganda Christian University since August 2019, Robinson focuses on creating rigorous curricula that foster principled leadership among students. As President and CEO of Congo Initiative, Inc. since its inception, Robinson believes in the transformative role of expert guidance in development. With a long-standing association with Wheaton College since 1999 as Professor Emeritus and Director of the Human Needs and Global Resources Program, Robinson has contributed to academic and experiential learning addressing global challenges. Previous leadership at St. Lawrence University as Director of the Kenya Semester Program complemented a strong educational background, culminating in a PhD in African History from Northwestern University.
