Mahipal Singh

Mahipal Singh has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Mahipal began their career as an Engine Cadet at Gulf Energy Maritime in 2009, where they developed preventive maintenance schedules and managed spare part inventory. Mahipal then moved on to become a Junior Engineer, where they assisted in repelling a pirate attack and restructured the inventory system, resulting in significant cost savings.

Singh continued to grow their career at Gulf Energy Maritime, taking on roles as a Fourth Engineer and Third Engineer, overseeing the maintenance and operation of critical equipment and leading fire fighting and search & rescue efforts. Mahipal achieved a 6% reduction in blackout incidents and downtime for the vessels as the Incharge of the Power Generation Plant.

Singh ventured into entrepreneurship, founding dhaniyamirchi, a fresh vegetables and fruits startup, followed by Krishisaathi Greencrops Pvt. Ltd., a startup focused on efficient farming practices and an efficient platform for farmers, businesses, and consumers.

Mahipal'smost recent position is at Wheelocity, where they hold the role of Associate Director in the Founder's Office.

Mahipal Singh obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Marine Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani from 2006 to 2010. Prior to that, they completed their 10th and 12th grades at Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Kanpur from 1993 to 2005. In terms of additional certifications, Mahipal obtained a Certificate of Competency Marine Engineer Oficer Class IV from the Government of India in March 2012. Mahipal also received Welder Performance Qualification (WPQ) 6G and WPQ 4G certifications from Lloyd's Register in December 2008 and September 2008 respectively. Recently, in May 2022, they completed certifications in Operational Excellence Foundations, Strategic Thinking, and Understanding Business from LinkedIn.
