Chief Information Officer at Wheels

As Chief Information Officer, Tim leads the Information Technology department. His teams are responsible for developing and managing client-facing systems, internal networks, business continuance applications, IT security, and systems infrastructure. Tim has over 30 years of leadership experience in IT application and infrastructure strategies, enterprise architecture optimization, and e-business integrations for multi-billion-dollar enterprises.

Prior to joining the company in 2015, Tim spent 19 years at Essendant, Inc., where he rose to the rank of Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer. As CTO, Tim was responsible for overall IT strategy and initiatives for all Essendant business units. He led corporate-wide enterprise IT strategy and modernization planning projects, built a state-of-the-art e-commerce web application for resellers, and launched a content portal that streamlined supplier integration.

Tim holds a B.S. in applied computer science from Illinois State University and earned alumni status from Harvard Business School after completing courses in finance, negotiation, and leadership development.
