Robert Malin has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Robert is currently the Co-Founder & CEO of When in Rome Wine Ltd since February 2016. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Vice President at Jefferies from May 2018 to August 2020. Robert also served as a Freelance Consultant at CLAEM LTD from February 2016 to April 2018. In 2016, they held the position of Director of Sales, Europe at Fastmatch, Inc. for a duration of nine months. Before that, they worked at ANZ as the Head of eFX Sales EMEA from March 2014 to March 2016. From July 2012 to February 2014, they were an Executive Director of FX e-Commerce at UBS. Robert spent six years at Barclays as a Director of eFX Sales Continental Europe from October 2006 to July 2012. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Manager for Russia & CIS at Gruppo Soges for a year and a half. Robert began their career as an Economic Consultant at ECORYS from September 2002 to February 2005. Lastly, they served as the European Projects Manager at SIRVA from September 1999 to July 2001.

Robert Malin's education history begins with their Bachelor of Arts degree in Modern European Languages with Economics, which they earned from Durham University between 1995 and 1999. Following this, they pursued a Postgraduate Certificate in Business Administration from the University of Bradford from 1999 to 2001. Lastly, they attended the College of Europe in Natolin from 2001 to 2002, where they obtained their Master of Arts degree in European Economic Development.
