Alan Dean

Alan Dean has a long and varied work experience, beginning in 2001 with IVIS Group as National Stores Team Lead. In 2003 they moved to The Retail Experience as Product Development Manager, where they drove a re-architecture of the solution to .NET, including support for Windows Mobile devices. In 2004 they had two short-term contracts, one with Intelligum providing ASP.NET expertise and the other with Sequel Business Solutions as Team Leader. In 2005 they joined lastminute.com as Lead Developer, OTC Technologies, where they were responsible for re-architecting the system to .NET. In 2007 they moved to Charteris as Senior Technologist and in 2009 they joined both MoveMe.com as CTO and The Alt.Net UK Society as Chairman. Finally, in 2010 they joined Adaptavis as Director and in 2012 they became Co-Founder and Technical Director of WhenFresh.

Alan Dean attended Oakham School from 1983 to 1987 and then the University of Leeds from 1987 to 1990, where they studied Economics.
