Drew Shapter

Drew Shapter is a highly experienced professional with a strong background in user experience design and research. Currently serving as a Volunteer Active Listener for The Wren Project since January 2025, Drew provides empathetic support to individuals with autoimmune diseases. At Which? since June 2012, Drew has held vital roles including User Research & Strategy Lead and User Experience Design Lead, focusing on user-centered problem-solving and experience strategy. Previous positions include leadership roles at Kingston University and British Gas, along with experience at J. Walter Thompson London, Fantastic Thinking, and Alchemy Systems Group. Drew's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Psychosocial Studies from Birkbeck, University of London, a Master of Arts in Psychoanalytic Studies, and a Bachelor of Science in Multimedia Production and Technology from the University of Plymouth, among other qualifications in experience design and psychoanalysis.
