Emma Taaffe is an experienced company secretary and governance manager who specializes in charity governance, with nearly 20 years of experience in promoting sustainability and resilience within the sector. Currently serving as Corporate Governance Manager at Which?, they provide governance support for the parent charity and its subsidiaries. Their past roles include governance management positions at Lloyd’s Register and Castle Trust, where they implemented effective governance systems and led initiatives that resulted in significant cost savings. Emma has also contributed to various governance improvements as a founding member of the Institute of Risk Management’s Small Charities Special Interest Group and as a trustee of a charity that aided a remote Zambian village.
