Karen Lawrence

Karen Lawrence is a seasoned professional in sustainability and energy efficiency, currently serving as a Senior Researcher and Writer at Which? since January 2021. With extensive freelance writing experience focused on sustainability and architecture from October 2015 to January 2021, Karen has also held significant roles such as Head of Programme Development at Local Energy and Project Manager for the Green Deal during a secondment at Eastleigh Borough Council. Previous positions include Project Manager at the LGiU, Climate Change Partnership Officer at the London Borough of Islington, and Principal Sustainability Advisor at Forum for the Future. Karen's career is grounded in a BA (Hons) in Architecture from Kingston University, earned between 1989 and 1992.
